Get to know my life and passion as I help people.

Growing up on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago, I enjoyed my time with my sister, parents and lots of family. The culture is rich with delicious food, vibrant music and I enjoyed the disciplined values. It was here I learned the importance of strong community and family principles. Giving back and helping others has been at the core of my lifestyle and it remains true today. Making a difference is my life purpose!

After graduating high school at 16 as we were under the British curriculum, I attended the University of Carabobo in Venezuela and lived there for two and a half years. There I studied Spanish where I became fluent in the language. I later moved to Texas in 1992 where I currently still reside. I had my son in 1993 and got to be a stay-at home mom for the first few years of his life. I decided to venture out again in to the workforce in the banking industry and continue the independence that was instilled in me by my parents.

After being robbed at the bank, I changed my career in 1999, working for a leading insurance company in the United States. I wanted to transition into something where I could help individuals. “Insurance is there to cover a claim if you need it, so I wanted to make sure my clients know what they are paying for and what is covered.”

Educating my clients on the importance of being properly insured is the most important part of my job. With over twenty plus years of experience in the insurance industry, I have been helping individuals secure coverage to support them in making smarter decisions in my own award-winning practice, at Sabrina Hosein Agency.

In living my purpose, I decided to launch BrassOlea Studios in 2023. I envision a dynamic space where authenticity thrives. Inspired by the resilient trees Brassica and Olea. The studio is a multifaceted hub for podcasts, video ads, content creation, photography and so much more. BrassOlea Studios mission is to empower individuals, business owners, and organizations to step confidently in front of the camera, fostering transparency and genuine connection. At BrassOlea, I believe in capturing the essence of every moment and unleashing the power of untold stories. 

Learning, Educating and Inspiring myself and others is part of who I am. In 2024 I published my first book; “Soaring On Faith” is a guide to journaling and creating a life full of Gratitude.

When I am not doing one of the interesting things listed above, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, crocheting, painting, cooking, traveling and so much more.
